Who We Are

Corporate Properties of the Americas (CPA) is one of Mexico’s leading industrial real estate companies, acquiring, developing, and operating industrial space throughout Mexico. With over 20 million square feet of warehouse, distribution, and light manufacturing space located in four main commercial hubs – Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Tijuana – CPA provides high-quality facilities and excellent service to its domestic and multinational clients.

CPA´s principal activities include:

• Industrial park development.

• Acquisition of real estate portfolios and single assets.

• Build-to-suit and speculative building development.

• Sale/lease-back transactions.

CPA develops industrial parks, provides design/build services and maintains high-quality, flexible inventory space for immediate occupancy. The company also acquires industrial space, both stand- alone facilities and portfolios.

CPA was founded in 1997 with an initial focus on manufacturing spaces near the US-Mexico border and soon began expanding in Monterrey. In 2000, the company sold an interest to Equity International Properties (EIP) and began developing in Guadalajara. Following continued growth, the company bought out EIP and received funding from one of the leading US state pension funds. Continued expansion followed in Mexico City and in other, smaller markets throughout the country. In 2012, CPA began sale of a portfolio of properties to FIBRA Macquarie and consolidated its operations in its four current markets.

At present, CPA’s portfolio includes nearly 10 million square feet of properties in Mexico City, nearly 6 million square feet in Monterrey, over 3 million square feet in Guadalajara, and nearly 3 million square feet in Tijuana.

CPA is dedicated to developing its people and making the company a dynamic business that offers the best and most complete service to its clients. Our focus on our people has also led to our recognition by Great Place to Work as being among the best companies to work for in Mexico. The company also participates in several industry associations, including AMPIP, AMEXCAP, and American Chamber, seeking to add value to the industry and help build better communities along the way.
